Step 1Before class

T: Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you! Today we’ll learn Unit2I’ll help clean up the city parks., in this unit, we will learn how to use “could” to offer help. And we also should learn how to use “to do” well. But first let’s watch a video and then tell me who is the most beautiful people in the video.

Ss: Watch the video.

T: Who is the most beautiful people in the video?

Ss: volunteers.?

T: Yes, They are beautiful because they work for no money and they volunteer to do many kinds of things and be ready to help others.

Step 2.  Lead in

T: Would you like to be a volunteer like them? What could you do to help others?

SsShow their ideas.

Step 3. Other ways to help others and teach new words

1.     show the pictures and teach the main new words.

2.     help the students to talk about how to offer help with could.

Step4. Listening

T: Two students are talking about how to help others. Now lets listen and number the ways they could help.

1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.

2. 1b. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help others.

3.  check the answer: (Key: 3, 2, 4, 1)

Step5. Listening

T: First I want you to read the conversation in the picture and then you can use the information in the chart of 1b to make your conversations.

Ss: A: I hope to work outside.

     B: You could help to clean up the city parks.

3.     Choose some some pairs to act out their conversations.

Step6. a city park clean-up day

T: To be a volunteer today! Don’t put off(推迟)making a planCity Park Clean-Up Day is only two weeks from now. Let’s come up with (想出)a plan to tell people about it. How to tell people about the city park clean-up?

Ss: look at the pictures and try to guess the ways.

T: A group of students are planning a City Park Clean-up Day. Listen and check (√) the things they are going to do to tell people about it.

1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things they are going to do.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the pictures.

3. Play the recording again to check the answers.

教后反思:

优点:

1.对于提供帮助的句型和方式,利用学生感兴趣的图片展现,学生很兴奋,讲解也降低了难度,很自然的突破了重点,学生学起来也很有兴趣。

2.在听力教学环节中,让学生能够提前预测、搭配给予了一定的方法指导,这对学生的听力练习很有帮助。

3.对学生的赏识教育和期待教育有了很大进步,通过学生精彩的表现我觉得学生的潜力都值得老师引导学生去开发。

4.能够体现精神,让学生自主探究创新并为他们搭建足够的平台,给他们提供展示自我的机会,提问面非常广。

值得改进的地方:

1.     忽略设计学习内容与现实生活的相关练习,缺乏体现语言的活用性,应适当增补课外的知识。

2.     对学生的提前交流沟通做的不够,以致对学生的基础积累方面有点偏差,如对帮助别人的打算学生不能够很好地拓展延伸。

教学反思

    在这节课中我所设计的任务都能落实到位,学生除了完成我所设计的任务外,还在过程中锻炼了他们的语言运用能力。 本堂课的不足之处在于学生的练习还不够充分,练习涉及的面不够广,应让更多的学生参与到课堂中来。
